I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Former two time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary face-off, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
